What I Do
Mentor and guide copywriters to create effective UX copy in apps and websites. For apps, this means clear, concise, and directive. For websites, this means clear and conversion-focused. Through my work as a former nonfiction book editor, I have 20+ years’ experience editing and perfecting copy, and helping other writers do the same. I’m skilled at guiding junior writers, professional UX copywriters, business executives, engineers and other subject matter experts, and entire content teams. This may take the form of workshops and seminars (in-person and online), launch meetings, creative briefs, Google Doc comments, and hands-on edits in Figma or other applications.

Case Study
Clover POS systems have a lot to offer their B2B customers, but their site was suffering from an overabundance of copy, which bloated pages and made skimming difficult. As Associate Director of Content Strategy for Huge, I guided a team of copywriters through content maps, virtual syncs, and Google Doc comments. We were able to refine page copy so that it was clear, on brand, and effectively showed value or helped potential customers make decisions.
